About the Author
Irene Ayo Asuen was born in New York City and began writing several years ago. Irene believes that writing is a vehicle for self-expression in a world where assumptions are quick to be made of people.
In addition to her current novel, Destiny's Faces, her poems; As friends and As Lovers and My Inner Voice have been published. Her other work include Voices from the Heart, a compilation of several poems.
Irene resides in New York City . She is currently working on another novel called Slightly Imperfect and a collection of essays called Something to Say. Irene is a member of the Poetry Society of America.
