About the Book
Thanks for all your wonderful emails and letters. Be sure to keep visiting my website for updates on my new book, Slightly Imperfect. In the meantime, here's a piece of poetry from my poetry book, Songs of the Heart.
Destiny
The stirring in my heart, the boredom,
The pull, the restlessness.
Tugging and pulling, it is time to seek again.
Where to go? What to do?
Not sure. Still seeking.
I’ll tell you when I get there.
I’ll tell you when I know.
Anxiously waiting. Anticipating. Excited.
The unknown. Destiny waits.
In a face, an object, a moment, an instance.
All at once everything changes.
And my course is forever altered.
No need to plan, no need to figure.
It just is.
The pull, the stirrings in my heart, the restlessness.
Unforeseen but dragging me through a predetermined path;
to a predetermined point by a force unknown.
When will I stop?
I’ll know when I get there.
And there is nothing but calmness.
There is peace. I am finally home.
I am finally in tune with Destiny.
